Below is a list of crimes being investigated by the Nelson County Sheriff’s Office.
Vandalism, Beech Grove Road, Roseland, June 21. A mailbox was damaged.
Larceny, Falling Rock Drive, June 23. A canoe was taken.
Larceny, James River Road, Graytown Road, Shipman, June 24. An inspection sticker and gas were taken.
Breaking and Entering, Walnut Grove Lane, Lovingston, June 24. A handgun was taken.
Breaking and Entering, Larceny, Thomas Nelson Highway, Arrington, June 26. Cigarettes were taken.
Larceny, James River Road, Shipman, June 28. A chainsaw was taken.
Destruction of Property, Patrick Henry Highway, Roseland, June 29. The window on the driver’s side rear door of a vehicle was damaged.
