Here is a synopsis of crimes reported in Nelson County from Aug. 12 to Aug. 30 from the Nelson County Sheriff’s Office:
-Credit card fraud, Tanbark Drive, Afton, Aug. 12
-Theft from building, Laurel Road, Shipman, Aug. 22.
-Property destruction, larceny, Front Street, Lovingston, Aug. 24: Rear auto window broken, cellphone taken.
-Larceny, Tyebrook Highway, Aug. 26: Carburator and spark plug wire.
-Property damage, Richmond Highway, Gladstone, Aug. 26: Exterior door.
-Burglary, Simpson Lane, Faber, Aug. 29: Damage to furniture.
-Breaking and entering, grand larceny, Norwood Road, Norwood, Aug. 29: Sword, jewelry box, two shotguns, black-powder rifle, four-wheeler were taken.
-Breaking and entering, Union School Road, Gladstone Aug. 30: Damage to door catch
