Mike and Angie Wooten, of Shipman, are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Jessica Dawn Wooten to Houston Carroll Allen III, son of Jr. and Cheryl Allen of Tyro.
The bride-to-be is a 2003 graduate of Nelson County High School and a current student at Sweet Briar College. She will receive her master of arts in teaching in May.
The prospective groom is a 1995 graduate of Nelson County High School and is currently employed by Layton’s Masonry and Construction.
A June 21 wedding is planned.
